Unlike this place, which Paul of AustinModHouse rightful points out is on BBQ away from a Burning Man exhibit, it will take more than fire (or the fall of the Soviet Union) to bring down this former ministry building in Tbilisi, Georgia. I have a fondness for brutalist bloc architecture. Sadly most of the examples in America lack a grandeur found in Europe and the Russian Bloc, Giesel Library aside.
