Man, whoever built all these hideous circa 2005-2010 “McModerns” really oughta be shot.

Nick Mehl typically got good press on this and other local modern architecture sites. The biggest problem with this structure, and the duplex/condo next door I think he also developed, is the fact that they abut MoPac. They are interesting structures, with green cred and high-end finishes, but the back yards are deafening spaces, and the vehicular pollution can’t be great – even with a great A/C system. I can’t recall if this one was leased when we looked at the two units next door. Nothing personal, but I expect this will sit on the market a while until the right price is hit or the buyer that just doesn’t care comes along.
