    This is perhaps my favorite Stenger home. It should be part of the historical register and it must be perserved.

      Ps. I just saw the realtor comment “needs a major update”. No, it needs a thoughtful restoration. Normally, I am fine with people updating homes to modern taste, but in this clutch of homes over here which make up the Stenger prototype era, thoughtful restoration should be the approach.

      Agent is trying to create a bidding frenzy (per MLS comments):

    I just visited the house and it’s fantastic but at that price + the needed restoration, it is totally unaffordable. In fact it would be one the most expensive in the surrounding neighborhood. It’s a real shame.

    Not sure how it would be the most expensive. The price is typical for the neighborhood if it is in livable condition. Nicely remodeled ones go for quite a bit more. I think there was one just a few doors down that listed around $700k last year.
