Oh, handslap on forehead! I remember this 2009 debacle, house was sitting there empty for ages, for sale (I even snuck around the grounds while house-hunting in that area)…but no for sale sign in the yard, etc. I was screaming bloody murder when it hit the MLS and was flooded with offers. Nice remodel, I recall it being low 400’s in ’09, but looks like at least 50-100K was put into it.
This is one of the nicest Stengers on Ridgewood. I’m glad they’ve kept it, mostly, original.
I remember this from 09, and I don’t see that they’ve changed much, which is most likely a good thing.
Rumor is that this is coming back on the market soon after an extensive renovation by a New York City based architect
