Kind of looks to me like they’re bringing back some of the elements of 70s modern (or whatever the style is). The exaggerated louvered look to keep out the light. Immediately reminded me of this house:

Ahh…the toothpaste (color) houses; this is some new construction that sat empty and half-completed for about a year. They’re located a block south of another infill project of five units by Michael Hsu http://bit.ly/99uFV6.
Well, at least they’re not as ugly on the inside as they are on the outside. I agree with mixette – I remember these sitting uncompleted for a long time.
Did anyone else notice the listing says: Foreclosure? Oh, and taxes of over $10K/year (tell me that’s a typo), along with a monthly association fee of $175? Pretty pricey for a dicey spot, folks.
